I studied philosophy at the University of Leuven, Belgium, and visual arts at Rijkscentrum voor Hogere Kunsten in Brussels. I first went to Portugal to study the messianic myth of sebastianism but I soon got involved in teaching Dutch language and translating between Portuguese and Dutch and still continue doing so. I've translated deveral Dutch theatreplays, with the final redaction of my late husband Filipe Ferrerm actor and author. Nowadays I am also active as a visual artist, with group and solo enhibitions in Belgium and Portugal, focusing on layers of texts (mainly fernando Pessoa), I also practice an art of movement, TenChi Tessen, "arte do sopro e do leque".
