Blanka Konečná, née Juranová (1990) studied Dutch studies at Palacký University in Olomouc (CZ). During her studies, she also stayed abroad for one semester in Utrecht (NL) and one in Vienna (AT) and carried out an internship in Diest (BE). She is currently a full-time translator and interpreter from and into Dutch and is also a private Dutch language tutor. In January 2019, she was appointed as court interpreter. She has translated several theater plays, non-fiction books and novels from Dutch, among others Aleksandra by Lisa Weeda (2023, Garamond) and Na co radši nemyslím by Jente Posthuma (2025, Vyšehrad).
