Born in Vranje in 1987, Ana began a degree in Italian Language & Literature at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade in 2006 followed by an MA in 2010. After defending her thesis in 2011 she enrolled in a PhD and began working at the Faculty. She helped to organise the symposium Oltre i confini in 2012, and presented her work at the international symposium held in honour of eminent Croatian Romanist Prof Žarko Muljačić at the University of Zagreb in 2012. She has translated the book Carnival of Shadows by R. J. Ellory in 2015 and is the co-author of the book Italy through centuries, an official textbook for teaching Italian culture at the faculty.
