Valeria Parlato (1991) was born in Catania, Sicily. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from University of Catania and a Master’s degree in Literary Translation from the University of Pisa. She has dedicated most of her studies to Spanish language and culture and, more precisely, to South American literary works, which she is passionate about. She has experiences in different language Academies where she worked as an L2 Italian teacher and as a translator for the contents of their websites. In 2015 and in 2016 she worked for the national book fair Pisa Book Festival during which she was an active member of the staff. She is currently living and working in Barcelona.
