Tereza Prymak studied translation and French philology at Charles University in Prague with a focus on Romance languages , particularly French and Romanian. Thanks to her studies of literature and literary science, her professional interests are firmly directed towards literary translation. She 
has translated two plays from French (Ty tvoje sny..., Vyhnání aneb Godot, jednání třetí), one from Romanian (Krokodýlek), and one French novel (Noc ve znamení tygra, 2018), she has been a collaborator with the Author’s Reading Month Festival in Brno (Vojáci. Příběh z Ferentari, Adrian Schiop) and has been a winner of the Czech Translators’ Guild’s Jiří Levý competition (1st prize - Dopisy Ritě, Stefan Caraman).
