
Natalija Milovanović (1995) is a poet who writes in Slovenian and Serbian. She holds a Master’s degree in Translation Studies for Slovenian, German and English.
She has mostly translated poetry (among others: Radmila Petrović, Bojan Vasić, Jana Radičević), but she also translates prose (e.g. Jasna Dimitrijević, Tamara Kovačević, Mojca Petaros). She translates young Slovenian literature for the anthology Rukopisi, yearly collection of U30 prose and poetry from ex-Yugoslavia. She is a CELA 2 alumna.
Her first collection Samoumevno [Taken for Granted] was published in 2021 (Best First Book Award; 10 Books from Slovenia 2022), the second one Tuja mehkoba [Foreign Tenderness] in 2025. Natalija Milovanović’s poems are available in English at the European poetry portal Versopolis.
