Gabriel Borowski (198 8) was born in Tychy, Poland. He has an MA in Portuguese Studies and a PhD in Literary Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, where he also finished a postgraduate course in Literary Translation (English to Polish) and where he currently teaches Lusophone literature and translation in the Department of Portuguese and 
Translation Studies. As a freelance translator, he dedicates himself to the dissemination of Lusophone literature in Poland and Polish literature translated into Portuguese.
