Vesna Dragar was born in 1993 in Ljubljana , Slovenia. In 2018 she received a BA in Comparative Literature & Literary Theory and Czech Language & Literature from the University of Ljubljana and is currently writing her MA thesis about narration in the literary work of Czech writer Jáchym Topol. In 2017, she came second in the Czech language category of a student
translation contest run by the university’s Department of Slavic Studies and in 2019 she came third in a translation competition run by the International
Student Conference in Prague.
