Simona Popov (1982, PanĨevo, Serbia) graduated Romanian Language and Literature at theUniversity of Belgrade, where she currently teaches of Romanian Syntax and practice of translation from Romanian into Serbian and vice versa. Simona is currently in her second year of PhD. Over the years she gained an extensive experience in consecutive and simultaneous translation, while she also translates literature. One of the goals she set for herself is to translate books and to encourage students to embark on the adventure of bridging different cultures and bringing them together via translations that convey the essence as envisioned by the author.
