My name is Alexa Stoicescu, I live in Bucharest and I’m passionate about literature from the Low Countries. I have been learning Dutch since I started studying Dutch and German philology at the University of Bucharest in 2004. After an exchange year at the University of Antwerp, I did a research MA specialising in Dutch Literature at the University of Amsterdam and I currently work as lecturer of Dutch language and literature at the University of Bucharest. I have translated several texts, including novels, collections of short stories, non-fiction, Dadaist poetry, and children’s books and I am looking forward to new projects.
