I grew up in a small village in northern Italy, where there aren’t many positive inputs for young people. I’ve always loved literature because it put me in contact with lives that were so far from mine. I believe in the power of literature, which is to connect people and to make them know each other’s experience. My passion for Dostoevskij and the novel “The Bridge on the Drina” by Ivo Andrić took me to choose to study translation from Russian and Serbo-croatian. Translation is the most deep way to experience literature.
