Elena Zuccolo
Elena studied Czech language and literature at the University of Udine, where she also later studied for an MA in Literary Translation, as well as studying music at The Prague Conservatory. In 2014 she won the 1st
prize in a translation contest focusing on the work of Czech writer Bohumil Hrabal, organised by the Czech Centres in cooperation with CzechLit. Her translation work includes the novel Dějiny světla by Jan Něměc
(Safarà Editore, 2017) and the short story Jeden všední den by Bohumil Hrabal (eSamizdat, 2019).
