Charlotte van Rooden (1993) translates from Romanian and German into Dutch. Her first book translation, Hartenvrouw, a Dutch translation of the Romanian novel Dama de cupă by Moldovan writer Iulian Ciocan, was published in 2020 by Dutch publisher Uitgeverij Pegasus. She has also translated a German non-fiction book , Sekscultuur by Bettina Stangneth 
and a short story by Anna Kalimar. She is working on a translation of Grădina de sticlă by Tatiana Țîbuleac, which will be published in 2022.
