Andreea David (1995) was born in Ștei, Romania. She moved to Italy in 2001. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Literature from the University of Padua, where she is currently completing her Master’s degree 
in Modern Philology, with a thesis on contemporary Romanian literature. During her academic career she took part and helped in the organisation of several cultural events meant to promote Romanian culture 
and she currently works with the Italian online magazine East Journal as an editor for the cultural section.
