Dayana Gocova is a student at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski,” enrolled in one of the university’s oldest and most prestigious programs, the Slavic Philology degree. This program prepares specialists in Slavic languages, with a focus on Ukrainian and Bulgarian Philology, leading to a Master of Arts degree. In addition to her academic pursuits, she has been actively involved in the field of film translation. For the past two years, Dayana has worked as a translator at the OKO - International Ethnographic Film Festival, contributing to making Ukrainian movies accessible to Bulgarian audiences, fostering a deeper understanding of Ukrainian culture in Bulgaria.
