Štěpánka Lichtblau graduated in German Philology from Palacký University in Olomouc and attended study stays at Johannes Gutenberg University in 
Mainz and at the University of Madeira. She was awarded a DAAD scholarship for her thesis research in Vienna and later worked in Berlin doing translations in the automotive industry. Based in Lisbon since 2014, she translates civil documents in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Portugal, and has extensive experience translating legal texts 
for Portuguese courts and technical texts for private companies. She also teaches German, Portuguese and Czech as a private tutor.
