Olga Niziołek (b. 1988) holds a master’s degree in Dutch Language and Culture. Her main fields of interests as a translator are prose (especially speculative fiction) and modern poetry.Among others she has translated a number of short stories, such as ‘The Day the World Turned Upside Down’ (‘De vis in de fles’) by Thomas Olde Heuvelt and ‘St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves’ by Karen Russell. Her translations from Dutch and English have won awards in translation contests. She’s currently working on her fourth book translation.
