Agata Tomažič
Agata Tomažič was born in Ljubljana , where she also spent her childhood and most of her adult life, with the exception of frequent travelling. She graduated in French language and Literature and journalism and worked as a newspaper journalist for more than a decade. In 2016 she published her first book , a collection of short stories titled Things You Can’t Tell Your Hairdresser. It was followed by a collection of travelogues and a novel. 2020. Agata’s style of writing is characterised by rich vocabulary, flamboyant sense of humour, and cynical twists. She works as a science communicator for the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts Research Centre.
