Tina Jurman (2001) was born in Ljubljana. She studied German Studies at the University of Ljubljana. In primary school she participated in various literary competitions, where she developed a love for literature. During her studies, she became more involved in translation and participated in several literary translation workshops, focusing on translating German plays and prose works. As part of her studies, she also learned Dutch, working as a translator from Dutch to Slovenian at a summer school in Ghent in 2024.
