Sára Zeithammerová is a writer based in Prague. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University and from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.

As a screenwriter, she debuted with her solo project Five Years, which details the consequences of a rape accusation. The film premiered on Czech Television in 2022 and was later commissioned by Arte, earning her a nomination for the Czech Film Critics’ Award.

Her debut novel Stehy (Stitches), told from the points of view of a mistress and a wife involved with the same man who meet face to face for the first time, was published in 2022 and longlisted for the Jiří Orten Award. Her second novel, Svatá (The Saint), a historical novel based on true events, was published in 2025.
