Olga Górska, a humanities graduate, comes from a proletarian background. Her childhood pastimes included playing football, watching The Lion King, and going to church. Her pastimes as an adult include sleeping, watching old films, and listening to music from the sixties.
She is a recipient of the Krakow UNESCO City of Literature Award and the winner of the Radom Literary Award, and has been nominated for some of the most important literary prizes in Poland.
Her novel Nie wszyscy pójdziemy do raju (Not All of Us Will go To heaven) was published by Drzazgi Publishing House in 2022. In 2023, a stage adaptation of the novel, directed by Karolina Szczypek, premiered at the Żeromski Theatre in Kielce.
She is a columnist for the queer magazine Replika and an essayist for LesBilans magazine, published by the Lesbikon Foundation.
