
Nikolina Đorđević was born in Vranje, Serbia. She studied Bulgarian language, literature, and culture at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade and is currently completing her MA in International Politics. She has many years of experience in translating from Serbian to Bulgarian and vice versa.
For nearly two years, she worked for Radio Television of Serbia on a project funded by the Republic of Serbia, translating popular TV shows from Serbian to Bulgarian. She has also worked as a translator at an addiction treatment clinic, specialising in medical terminology. In terms of literary translation, she has participated for several years in the poetry and prose competition held by the University of Veliko Tarnovo, with a number of her poems and texts published most notably Levski in the eyes of a child.
