Nataliya Deleva is the author of the novels Four Minutes and Arrival. Her debut novel, Four Minutes (Невидими), was originally published in Bulgaria by Janet 45 in 2017, where it received the country’s most prestigious prize for emerging literature in 2018 and was shortlisted for several other national awards. It has since been translated into German (eta Verlag), English (Open Letter Books, US) and Polish (Wydawnictwo EZOP). Her second novel, Arrival, written originally in English, was published by The Indigo Press in the UK and in Bulgarian as Пътна връв (Janet 45, 2025).
Deleva's short fiction, essays, and criticism have appeared in literary journals and anthologies, including Stories from the 90s (ICU Publishing, 2019), Words Without Borders, Fence, Asymptote, Lunate, Review31, and Granta. She is an advisory board member at Folding Rock Magazine, where she helps shape a literary space for inclusive storytelling and diverse new writing.
