Magdalena Ukrainets (1992) holds PhD, and graduated inPolish Studies and Bohemian Studies from the University of Warsaw. She is a language editor and editorial secretary for the Polish literary journal Tekstualia, and works at the Comparative Studies Department at the University of Warsaw. Magdalena defended her doctoral dissertation with distinction, focusing on the translations of Bolesław Leśmian's works into West and East Slavic languages. In addition to her scholarly work, she writes literary texts and translates from Czech, Ukrainian, Slovak, and Russian.
