Mădălina Balea (b. 2001) is a Romanian translator with a deep passion for languages, literature, and all forms of artistic expression. She graduated in 2023 from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bucharest, where she specialized in Dutch and French. In 2022, she participated in the summer school Vertalen en / in het literaire veld in Vienna, Austria, a program dedicated to literary translation for Dutch language students. Following her graduation, she joined the CELA project, continuing her journey in the field of literary translation.
