Lieven Stoefs

Lieven Stoefs (1982) is a writer and engineer who grew up in Greece. In his work, he examines human encounters through a scientific lens, using sensuous language. His short stories appear regularly in literary magazines such as Kluger Hans and Hard//hoofd. His debut novel, Peninsula, tells of love and despair in a family over four generations, and was shortlisted for the Bronzen Uil prize in 2023. Lieven is currently writing his second novel, about boys and men, their language, and their codes.
