Lies Doms (b. 1995, BE) began her studies at KU Leuven with a bachelor’s in applied linguistics (Dutch, English, Spanish), followed by a master’s in translation and a postgraduate in literary translation. She has published in the literary magazine PLUK, among others, and in 2020 she received a development grant from Expertisecentrum Literair Vertalen for the translation of Vozdevieja by Spanish writer Elisa Victoria.
