Lena van Tijen (b. 1993, NL) is a writer, translator (Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian into Dutch) and bookseller. Her essays, short stories and translations have appeared in the literary magazines De Gids and Terras, the art magazines Metropolis M and Mister Motley, and in De Groene Amsterdammer, among others. In 2022 she received the Award for Young Art Critic for ‘Mag het weg?’, an essay.
