
Justyna Sterna (1992) is a translator based in Warsaw. She studied Hispanic Studies and Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. She took part in the second edition of Translatorium, a mentoring program for literary translators organized by Kraków UNESCO City of Literature, the Centre for Translation Studies at Jagiellonian University, and the Polish Literary Translators Association.
To date, Justyna has translated a children's book (Wszyscy jesteśmy geniuszami 2, Akapit Press) and a short story collection by Ariadna Castellarnau (Mrok jest miejscem, Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego) from Spanish into Polish. Her translations have also appeared in Literatura na Świecie magazine.
When she's not reading, she works her corporate day job as a recruiter. She loves cats, short stories, the Spanish language, and Brazilian music.
