
Jitka Zárubová
Jitka Zárubová (1984, Prague) studied Bulgarian Studies at the Institute of Slavic Studies at Charles University’s Faculty of Arts in Prague. She has worked for the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague for more than fifteen years, where she improved her translation and interpreting skills. Jitka is dedicated to translating Bulgarian films, with Czech audiences having already seen more than a hundred feature and documentary films in her translations. Together with her colleagues, she contributed to the translation of Midnight Stories: An Anthology of Bulgarian Diabolism. In addition to literary projects, she has recently been organising exhibitions on ecology, women's rights, and other topics that move our society.
