Jessica Rostro Benigno (1999) was born in Palermo and studied Languages, Literature, Culture and Translation, as well as Linguistic, Literary and Translation Science at the Sapienza University of Rome. She is currently a freelance translator; working with Dutch, English, and Russian.

In 2020, she translated her first historical novel from English into Italian. Since then she has participated in numerous translation workshops, including the Vice versa-vertaalworkshop organized by the Dutch Foundation for Literature in 2023.
