Jessica Bilcec studied Ukrainian and Russian languages at the Faculty of Letters of “Babeș-Bolyai” University in Cluj-Napoca. She continued her studies at the master's program Romanian Language in the Romanic Context at the same faculty. Since 2022, she has been translating articles and short prose from the Ukrainian language for the literary-cultural magazine Ecouri ucrainene. Starting from 2023, she is also a member of the editorial board of the same magazine. In 2024, the volume of translations Pagini de literatură ucraineană appeared, of which she was a co-author. Being passionate about Ukrainian literature, she dedicates herself to its translation, so that Romanian readers can also enjoy it.
