Ivana Peneva is a translator and teacher from Sofia, Bulgaria, working with Spanish and English. She has a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Granada, Spain and has completed the Master's program "Translator-Editor" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" with Spanish and English. She is the winner of the tenth Grand Prize ‘13 Centuries of Bulgaria’ Literary Criticism Competition and Workshop, 2022 and won second place in the Translation competition organised by Colibri Publishers and the Bulgarian Translators' Union, 2017. She has published translations in Enthusiast Publishing House and Savremennik Magazine. She has also translated official documentation for the European Commission.
