Hanan Faour (1998) is a Dutch-Lebanese writer working with text, image, and html. She studied Creative Writing at ArtEZ University of the Arts, where she now teaches on the topics of transmedia, AI, and Barbie. In 2017, Hanan won the El Hizjra Literatuurprijs. Her work has appeared in the literary magazine De Revisor, and she has performed at several Dutch literature festivals, including Mooie Woorden and Crossing Border. Her debut novel schervenstad (2022, De Geus) was nominated for the Opzij Literatuurprijs in 2023.
