Filip Grujić (1995) is an awarded writer, playwright, and director from Serbia. He earned his BA and MA in Dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he now works as an assistant professor. He is the author of three published novels. Podstanar (Tenant), published in October 2020, was shortlisted for both the European Union Prize for Literature and the NIN Award. His latest novel, I onda opet, iz početka (And Then, All Over Again), was published in 2023 and also shortlisted for the NIN Award.
He is a recipient of the Mihiz Award for overall achievement in playwriting, as well as the Sterija Award and the Slobodan Selenić Award for his play not before 4:30, nor after 5:00.. His debut feature-length documentary film Yugo Goes to America is currently in post-production.
