Enrique Gutiérrez Rubio has translated two novels (Mědvědí tanec by Irena Dousková and Steiner aneb Co jsme dělali by Martin Fahrner), a poetry collection (Nová divočina by Jonáš Zbořil), as well as a few comics and children's books from Czech into Spanish. His primary professional role is as a researcher and university lecturer. He holds degrees in Slavic and German Studies and earned his PhD in Diachronic Czech Linguistics at the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain. He is an associate professor in the Department of Romance Languages at Palacký University Olomouc in the Czech Republic. He has published five books and more than fifty journal articles and book chapters, focusing primarily on Spanish morphology and phraseology.
