David Heredero Zorzo (1985) was born in Madrid, where he earned a degree in History. In 2010 he moved to Slovenia, and has since then worked as a Spanish teacher. He has always had a liking for words and has been writing for most of his life– be it songs, fanzines, or anything else. As he mastered Slovene,David decided to try his hand at translating Slovenian literature into Spanish, and so far he is loving it. He has translated many of the country’s main authors who write for young readers (Jana Bauer, Anja Štefan, Aksinja Kermauner, Desa Muck...), as well as some books for adult audiences, including Las sombras no arden by Erik Valenčič.
