Corinne Heyrman (1994) is a writer, playwright, and podcast creator whose work engages closely with society and reality. Her debut novel, Het begin en zijn oneindigheid (2022, De Arbeiderspers), explores the beginning and possible ending of psychological vulnerability. She also created Pink Sheep of the Family for Het Zuidelijk Toneel, a play in which two generations of transgender people reflect on the concept of family. As part of the podcast collective Horens, she has co-created numerous audio works. Corinne teaches Writing and Performance at ArtEZ University of the Arts and works as a writing coach in prisons and care centers. She is currently writing her second novel, on genetic ties, and a non-fiction book on how society copes with anorexia.
