Cecilia Rita (1999) was born in Recanati. Since high school, she has pursued the study of literature in all its forms. After completing a bachelor’s in Lettere Moderne at the Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna, she attended the two-year programme at Scuola Holden, which she completed in 2023. She then continued her studies by enrolling in a master’s degree in comparative literature at the University of Turin.
During this time, she published her first novel, Mantide (NNE, 2025). Here, the past becomes the future: she will graduate during the spring session of 2026 and will either teach literature to teenagers, work in a library, or keep studying. All these projects share some common features: the bookworm’s perseverance in endless research, the loud joy of new discoveries, and the fascination for the art of telling stories.
