Camila Ramírez

Camila Ramírez Cuervo is an editor, proofreader, literary translator, and professional reader. Born in 1996 in Bogotá, Colombia, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science, followed by a specialisation in Global South epistemologies. She then moved to Spain to pursue a Master’s degree in Literary Translation and Literary Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid. She has edited multiple novels by Latin American and Spanish authors, such as En la piel by Nicolás Buenaventura Vidal and Los días ligeros by Yolanda Guerrero, for various publishers including Angosta and Plaza & Janés, and collaborated with other presses such as Penguin Random House and Planeta. She translates from English, French, and Italian, and is currently based in Madrid.
