Beatriz Jiménez

Born in 1996 in Leiden, the Netherlands, Beatriz Jiménez López discovered her passion for translation and literature at an early age. Her love of books and languages naturally guided her towards pursuing a degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Salamanca. After graduating, she embarked on a career as a freelance translator while also working as a project manager for several translation agencies. Beatriz has already translated some notable works into Spanish, including El Camino by Anya Niewierra (from Dutch), Worthy by Jada Pinkett Smith (from English), and Live Happily in Your Body by Hiroto Koike (from Japanese). Although currently working as a project manager, Beatriz is dedicated to achieving her dream of becoming a full-time literary translator, bringing new and untold stories to life for Spanish-speaking readers.
