Annemieke Dannenberg (1993) is a writer and spiritual counsellor in eldercare. She studied religious studies at Utrecht University and completed a training course in spiritual counselling at Radboud University, focusing on secularisation within Dutch Protestantism. Dannenberg has published short stories and poems in Dutch literary magazines including De Revisor and Extra Extra Magazine.

In her work, she explores what lies at the nexus between absurdity, meaning, belief, and truth. Kleine heilige dingen (Small Sacred Things) is her debut novel.
