Andrei Săndulescu studied Czech and Russian philology at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures in Bucharest. He is currently working with a publishing house in Romania as a translator and with the Romanian-Moldavian magazine Timpul, where he will frequently publish short texts. His first completed translation from Czech to Romanian language is the play titled Jocul fatal al iubirii (Lásky hra osudná) by Karel Čapek, which he wants to bring to Romanian theaters` stages for the very first time, in collaboration with a few actors and directors. One of his lifelong dreams is to promote Romanian language and culture abroad, with the help of cultural exchanges, summer schools, cultural institutions and international projects.
