											Aleksander Podgórny is a translator specialising in Romanian and Portuguese. He holds a degree in Jazz Instrumental Studies from the Academy of Music in Katowice, and a degree in Romanian Philology from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków where he is currently pursuing Portuguese Philology. He collaborates with the Polish-Romanian Society in Kraków as a translator of theatrical performances and films. His passion lies in linguistics and the art of translation, and he is particularly captivated by a variety of literary genres including science fiction and fantasy, non-fiction, and reportage, as well as literature for younger audiences.
