Ajda Bračič studied architecture and works as an editor, curator, and writer. In 2022, her literary debut, a collection of short stories titled Leteči ljudje (Flying people), was published by LUD Literatura. The book was awarded the Maruša Krese Prize for short fiction and the Kritiško Sito–a prize awarded by the Slovenian Literary Critics' Association for the best literary work of the past year–and was nominated for the best Slovenian literary debut. Ajda regularly contributes to several Slovenian media on the topics of architecture and culture. She also advocates for the reuse of old buildings and sustainable spatial development through her NGO, Kajža.
