We are proud to announce the newly selected writers for the CELA cycle 2025-2027! Together with external boards and juries, the CELA partners have put delicate effort in selecting the new 33 writers that will join the current 99 translators in promoting literature across Europe. CELA is a European talent development program for emerging writers and translators across 11 countries, supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. By building a growing network of literary artists across Europe through translating and promoting literary works in non-native languages, CELA aims to break through uneven literary infrastructures in different countries, and to open possibilities to reach European audiences beyond borders.
