Inspired by a verse by poet Eugenio Montale, which became the title of the Strega Award-winning novel by Lalla Romano, "Le parole tra noi leggere" is the theme of the XXXVII edition of the Turin International Book Fair.

On 16 May, at the Salone Internazionale del Libro, the ten Italian translators who are participating in the CELA project in 2024-2025 will meet at the Rights Centre of the Book Fair.

From 9.30 to 10.00 a.m., Kim van Kaam (CELA project coordinator) and Antonio de Sortis (translator from Dutch) will present the CELA programme and talk about the fundamental role of translators in scouting emerging authors for the publishing market. After a short coffee break offered by Scuola Holden, from 10 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. publishers will be able to meet face to face with the ten Italian translators selected by Scuola Holden for CELA. Each one will present his or her portfolio and the three foreign authors whose work he or she has translated during these two years.

On 2 June, the second event organised by Holden will be at the literary festival La Grande Invasione in Ivrea, where Martino Gozzi will dialogue with three guest CELA authors and their translators. The meeting will be held at the Book Gallery, and will feature the writer Pete Wu from Amsterdam and his translator Jessica Rostro Benigno; the writer Maria Karpińska from Poland together with her translator Paola Pappalardo and writer Kike Cherta accompanied by translator from Spanish Martino Gandi.
